The Hong Kong Arts Festival Society and the University are delighted to co-present the following Arts Festival “PLUS” event on the PolyU campus this year.
2016 Hong Kong Arts Festival PLUS Programmes - The Aesthetics of Korean Dance (Talk)

Speaker: Felix Chen
Local choreographer Felix Chen will introduce the different aesthetic aspects of traditional Korean dance. Extracts from an exquisite ‘poetry in motion’, Scent of Ink will be shown.
The talk will be conducted in Cantonese and Putonghua.
Free admission by ticket.

2016 Hong Kong Arts Festival PLUS Programmes - Basic Steps to Korean Dance (Workshop)

An exclusive dance workshop on the basic movements, music, rhythm and dance techniques of traditional Korean dance.
The workshop will be conducted in Cantonese.

Winner of the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2014, this documentary explores the aspirations and struggles of backup singers including Lisa Fischer, American vocalist-songwriter and Grammy Award winner. Local backup singers will share their experiences in the post-screening discussion.
