“Ballet Gala with Dancers from La Scala Theatre, Milan” on 25 September 2018 (Tuesday) at JCA will have some principal dancers coming from the La Scala Theatre Ballet for performance. The Ballet Company of Teatro alla Scala (Italian: Corpo di ballo del Teatro alla Scala) has a glorious past. Since its first performance for the theatre opening in 1778 in Milan, the La Scala Theatre Ballet went on to become one of the most celebrated companies worldwide. Many leading dancers have performed with the company, including Mara Galeazzi, Alessandra Ferri, Viviana Durante and Carla Fracci. The expressive and technical appeal are currently guaranteed by the star names of its étoiles, Roberto Bolle and Svetlana Zakharova. A new generation of dancers is trained at the prestigious La Scala Theatre Ballet School, which is the official associate school of the company.
