PolyU Artists’ Alliance - Auditions for the PolyU Musical

Audition Details：

Date: 19 May 2024 (Sunday)
Time: 10am-7pm
Venue: TBC

Enrolment Deadline: 15 May 2024

Audition Rundown ：

1. Self-introduction

2. 1-minute monologue chosen by the candidate

3. 1-minute talent performance

4. Performance of an assigned repertoire

5. Group exercise led by the instructor

The self-introduction and performances (1 to 4 above) will be conducted individually. After completing the individual part, candidates are required to stay for the group exercise. The entire audition process will take approximately 30-45 minutes.

Notes：

1. Please wear comfortable and easy-to-move-in clothing.

2. Please bring your own electronic device with a 3.5mm mini-jack output or USB, if an accompaniment/MMO is needed.

Tentative schedule: 

Workshops:
Workshops will be held during August to September 2024. 

Rehearsal:
Date: 16 September to 23 November 2024 (10 weeks)
Time: 6-10 pm (every Monday to Friday), 10 am-5 pm (every Saturday)
Venue: PolyU campus (Exact location will be notified in due course.)

Tentative performance schedule:
3 performances tentatively on 29, 30 November and 1 December 2024.
Venue: Jockey Club Auditorium, PolyU

Selected candidates should attend all performances and participate at least 80% of the rehearsals. Schedule above are tentative and subject to changes.
