This 1-hour workshop explores the benefits and limitations of using Gen AI in relation to creating plain English emails that are reader-friendly and globally accessible. Common Gen AI email pitfalls and creating prompts to avoid these will be presented, as well as ways to humanize AI-generated correspondence to set an appropriate tone and avoid alienating readers.

This workshop is aimed at those thinking of using or starting to use Gen AI in their daily workplace writing. However, expert users are very welcome to join and share their tips, ideas, and experiences. Examples presented in the workshop are mostly created by Chat GPT, Poe, and Microsoft co-pilot.
