Biography
Mr. Simon Carvell started out as a chef for several years before becoming a load controller at Jersey airport in the Channel Islands. After a stint as an Air Traffic Controller at London - Stansted, Simon concluded that he would rather fly and joined the Air Atlantique Fugly scheme.
With a fresh license in hand, he flew UK Coastguard Search & Rescue along with pollution patrols before a spell with Delta in the USA, teaching ATPL ground school. He returned to the UK to fly Lockheed Electras on various freight contracts before going on to Tag and private jets. After several years in Farnborough and Geneva, Simon retired from flying in 2013.
He spent 5 years traveling with his family before settling in Spain and, with that, a return to ATPL ground school at FTE, Jerez, before coming to Hong Kong and PolyU.
