Satellite Communication and Navigation

Satellite Communication and Navigation team strives for :

1. Carrying out high-quality research and development to meet the industrial, commercial, and community needs of the society;
2. Fostering close collaborations and building up better synergy in navigation and positioning research through a research network including PolyU, overseas research institutions, industries, and governmental departments;
3. Providing professional services to the government/industry/community in solving problems related to Satellite Communication and Navigation through carrying out consulting projects, arrangement of technical workshops and seminars, and development of engineering and scientific devices/systems/strategies;
4. Assisting/influencing government policy related to Satellite Communication and Navigation and enhancing the competitive edges of HK in Aerospace through active technology transfer;
5. Underpinning graduate/undergraduate teachings with knowledge created from research and development works.
