Mr Hugo Cheuk works hand in hand with Mr Gary Ng, another proud alumnus of PolyU, to scale up operations of viAct, an AI venture included in the Forbes Asia 100 to Watch 2022 list. By tailor-making AI modules for construction projects across Asia and Europe, this ConTech start-up offers scenario-based, real-time, on-site and remote analyses to sizeable developers, government offices and other clients. Their granular insights about safety prepositions, productivity forethoughts and ESG compliances not only attracted partners from all over the world, but also secured the company a US$2 million seed fund in 2021 from SOSV, Vectr Ventures, Artesian Ventures, Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund and ParticleX.
