Notice: Changes to Microsoft OneDrive Storage for PolyU Alumni

Microsoft has recently announced "Changes to storage offerings across Microsoft 365 Education", a policy that will affect higher education institutions worldwide. Effective from 1 February 2024, the Microsoft storage policy for OneDrive will reduce the maximum storage limit to 100GB for free users, including PolyU alumni. The OneDrive service that PolyU provided will cease entirely starting from 31 January 2025. In the meantime, the University will provide you with an online archive service of your Connect email, starting from 1 February 2024. We kindly request your attention to this matter and encourage you to manage your OneDrive storage usage and take appropriate actions to ensure a smooth transition. For details, please click here.

You may stay connected with your alma mater by using PolyU Alumni NetID and Connect Email Account.

  • For alumni who graduated in 2011 or after, your Student NetID would automatically become Alumni NetID.
  • For alumni who graduated before 2011 or graduates of HKCC/ SPEED with PolyU award, click here to register for Alumni NetID, if you have not done so.

Upon successful registration and receipt of your Alumni NetID, you can sign in Alumni Portal to update personal profile and get your PolyU Alumni eCard. The eCard allows you to access the campus and enjoy various privileges.
