Biography
Dr Kevin Chan is a Lecturer in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. As an advocate in blended and eLearning, Dr Chan initiated the Clickers@PolyU user group that facilitates use of Students Response System (SRS) and advocated in practice and research in learning with technology, including technology enhanced flipped classroom, gamified learning, out-of-class learning, Mass Open Online Course (MOOC), and learning science. His current interests are in the psychology of technology adoption, attention and engagement in learning, and applied psychology in the community settings. Dr Chan led a project on Peer Instructions in Hong Kong that won the Overall Bronze Award at the Reimagine Education 2016 in the category of The Best Use of ICT Tool.
