Academic Staff

Dr. Chen obtained his PhD degree in Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning Engineering from Tongji University in 2020. He joined USST as a post-doctoral fellow in May 2020 and promoted to Associate Professor in June 2023. Dr. Chen joined PolyU as RAP in August 2024. His research expertise is mainly in building energy modelling, machine learning, energy flexibility, demand response, and AI technology for smart buildings.
