Dr HUANG Xuedong, the Chief Technology Officer at Zoom, leads the company’s AI efforts to enhance user experience and productivity for millions of customers worldwide. With over 30 years of experience in AI, Dr Huang is a recognized leader and innovator, having achieved several industry-first human parity AI milestones with his Microsoft colleagues and holding over 170 US patents. He is an elected member of the National Academy of Engineering, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, as well as a fellow of IEEE and ACM. Dr Huang holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, an MS from Tsinghua University, and a BS from Hunan University. He is also the co-author of a widely used textbook on spoken language processing. Passionate about advancing AI, Dr Huang is committed to empowering people to communicate and collaborate more effectively through cutting-edge technology.
