FH Student Receives Honourable Mention in the Outstanding Tertiary Students Award of Hong Kong 2023

Our Year 3 BALT (BA(Hons) in Linguistics and Translation) student Lui Ho Ching Josette won the accolade at the Outstanding Tertiary Students Award of Hong Kong 2023. Over 100 tertiary students from different institutions competed for the Award. Around 40 of them were shortlisted and the 15 finalists went through two rounds of interviews and public voting. 10 students were then selected as award winners by the organiser.
 
Josette has served as a student ambassador at the University and actively participated in various community services. She was awarded winner of the student group in the 7th Hong Kong Master of Ceremony Competition 2022, which was first launched by the JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes in 2005.

The Hong Kong Outstanding Tertiary Students Award 2023, organised by the Hong Kong Youth & Tertiary Students Association, aims to encourage and nurture promising students who excel in academic performance as well as in social contributions. It also promotes whole-person development and hopes to inspire more tertiary students to contribute to society and the nation.
