Looking back on my university life, I have had an inspiring journey of self-discovery. PolyU provides me with an environment where I could develop my capacity for independent thinking and plenty of opportunities to explore different possibilities and realize my goals. Through the interdisciplinary study involving statistics, programming and finance, I have gained an in-depth understanding of the interplay among these categories and acquired comprehensive knowledge. With the valuable and practical experiences, I have gradually developed my interest in data analytics and realized how fulfilling it is to leverage data to solve real-world problems. The overseas exchange opportunity provided by PolyU is the most thrilling part of my university life. I took the IAESTE internship in the Queen’s University Belfast in the UK and went on exchange at Georgia Tech in the USA. By getting exposure to diverse cultures and making friends with people from different backgrounds, my creative thinking and cultural adaptability have been enhanced. Cultural diversity inspires me to view the world from different perspectives and explore endless possibilities in life.

對於我來説，修讀應用生物兼化學科技學科實在讓我終身受益。ABCT 的課程除了讓我們學到理論知識外，亦十分重視實驗技能的培養，爲我 們的學習奠下了堅實的基礎。另外，教授們富有責任感，對我們要求亦 相當嚴格，並會細心指導我們，讓我們對課程内容有更深入的理解。導 師除了會解答我們學術上的問題外，亦總是耐心地為我們提供在生活以 及個人發展規劃等各個方面的指導。ABCT四年的教育讓我從懵懂的高 中畢業生走向成熟。同時，學系為我們提供多元化的海外交流機會。除 了交流計劃外，我們亦有機會到哈佛大學、加州大學洛杉磯分校等世界 著名的大學參與暑期研究項目。這些交流計劃不僅開拓了我們的國際視 野，更有助提升我們的學術研究能力。 我的大學生活是一場激動人心的自我探索之旅。理大為我提供了 培養獨立思考能力的環境，並讓我有機會探索各種可能性，助 我實現自己的理想。通過融合統計、編程和金融的跨學科研習， 我理解到這些學科之間的內在聯繫，並全方位學習各個範疇的知 識。結合珍貴的實踐經歷，我逐步發掘了自己對數據分析的興 趣，並在運用數據解決現實問題的過程中感受到無可比擬的滿足 感。 理大提供的海外交流機會是我 大學生活中最難以忘懷的部 分。我曾在英國貝爾法斯特女 王大學參與實習，並曾在美國 佐治亞理工學院當交換生。通 過接觸各國的文化及結交來自 不同背景的朋友，我的創意思 維和文化適應能力均有所提 升。文化多樣性啟發了我從不 同視角觀察這個世界，並持續 探索人生的無限可能。
