理大科學青年人才比賽

We are excited to announce the inaugural ‘PolyU SCIENCE Young Talents Competition’! Running from January to March 2024, this competition is designed for Secondary 4 - 5 / Grade 10 - 11 / Year 11 - 12 students.

It offers two rounds of competition to assess participants' theoretical knowledge and provides hands-on laboratory experience for the students to explore their interests and get a first-hand look at advanced research facilities at PolyU. All questions and tasks focus on four areas: Biology and Food Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. In addition to attractive cash rewards, the overall winning teams will have the opportunity to do internships with our Star Professors during the Summer of 2024!

為培育下一代科學青年人才，理學院將於2024年1月至3月舉辦首屆「理大科學青年人才比賽」。比賽對象為中四至中五 / 第 10－11級 / 第 11－12 班的學生。比賽旨在評估中學生的理論知識，並在理大的先進實驗室中提供實踐學習的機會。

比賽將分為兩個階段，問題和任務將涵蓋生物與食品科學、化學、數學及物理四個科目，讓同學們發掘對科學的興趣，親身體驗香港理工大學的先進研究設施，開展成為未來科學家的旅程。除了可以獲得豐富的現金獎外，勝出隊伍更能獲得於2024年暑假參與理學院星級教授研究實習的寶貴機會！
