Eligibility:
- Year 2 or above, full-time students of UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes
- Aged 18 or above with valid travel document
- Excellent English communication and writing skills
- Highly independent, proactive, and culturally sensitive
Reference Companies and Job Descriptions:
After being nominated to our partnering organisation (Absolute) and accepted into the Programme, candidates will be recommended to suitable companies based on your WIE requirements, skills and experiences. Below is a list of sample business sectors and job natures for reference (non-exhaustive). Offer will be subject to employers’ discretion.

Application Procedures:
Financial assistance from GEO:
A. Offshore WIE Sponsorship (OWS) (NOT applicable for virtual internship):
- Year 2 or above, full-time students of UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes
- WIE endorsement from academic department will be required

B. Hardship Allowance (NOT applicable for virtual internship):
- Students with proven financial difficulties can apply for a Hardship Allowance in support of expenses to be incurred in Mainland or International WIE.

C. Learning Incentive:
- Students will receive a cash incentive (HK$2,300) for their efforts in maximising the WIE learning opportunities.
