Updated information on Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

1. Government extends social distancing measures under Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance

The COVID-19 epidemic situation in Hong Kong remains serious. The Government announced on 26 January that it will gazette directions and specifications to maintain the social distancing measures currently in place until 3 February. For details, please refer to the press release:

2. Specifications under Prevention and Control of Disease (Regulation of Cross-boundary Conveyances and Travellers) Regulation to be gazetted
Effective from February 2, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates will be included as very high-risk Group B specified places. Details on the grouping of specified places and their respective boarding and compulsory quarantine requirements can be found at following webpage:

3. Government to further enhance compulsory testing
Currently in all districts in Hong Kong (except specified areas and restricted areas), if confirmed cases not epidemiologically linked to each other are found in two or more units in the same building in the past 14 days, the building will be included in the compulsory testing notice. Furthermore, the Government delineates specified areas or restricted areas in accordance with risk assessments, in order to strengthen compulsory testing in a targeted manner. To facilitate more ethnic minorities to receive the Government’s latest epidemic prevention information, videos on COVID-19 testing and prevention have been translated into multiple languages.

2019冠狀病毒病的最新資訊

1. 政府延續《預防及控制疾病條例》下的社交距離措施
本港2019冠狀病毒病疫情持續嚴峻,政府於1月26日刊憲,維持現行的社交距離措施至2月3日。詳情參閱新聞公報:

2. 政府就《預防及控制疾病(規管跨境交通工具及到港者)規例》下的指明刊憲
由2月2日起,瑞士及阿拉伯聯合酋長國將屬非常高風險的B組指明地區。就相關指明地區分組和相應的登機及強制檢疫要求的詳情,可參閱:

3. 政府進一步進行強制檢測
現時在全港所有地區(指定區域及受限區域除外),如大廈過去14日內有兩個或以上單位出現無關連確診個案,均會被納入強制檢測公告。此外,政府亦會按風險評估,劃出指定區域或受限區域,針對性地加強強制檢測,詳情可參閱:
