	Centre / Laboratory Tours Advanced Materials and Intelligent Manufacturing Centre Future FoodTech Lab TechEd Playground Green Living Lab

On 2 August 2023, we have a technical visit to Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), there are totally 8 persons participated in this event. The tour starts in a digital showroom with three video including safety precaution, HKPC introduction and innovation design.

A show case is to use remote control cars to replace fireman going directly into the site to find and rescue injured and put off fire. One car is equipped with IR sensor to detect human and fire sprinkler hand to put off fire. Another car is used to rescue injured. The cars can reduce firemen’ s injured or death during the operation.

In Celesphere Lab, we have participant experiences metaverse. A show case about setting up a car manufacturing plant by using metaverse, we can test the flow and operation before actual implementation, this can reduce a lot of expenses that may occur for later setup and modification.

In Advanced Material and Intelligent Manufacturing Centre, we have seen different types of material using in 3D printing.

In Future Foodtech Lab we have seen using ultrasonic for food thawing, high pressure for food sterilization and liquid chilling tunnel system for fast food cooling.

In Green Living Laboratory Lab, we have seen various testing methods for water and Chinese medicine.

The visit was successful ended at 12:10pm with a bit overrun.
