Research Assessment Exercise 2014

We are pleased to inform you that in the last Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) 2014*, we came top of the table among the five local universities with the highest percentage of world leading research in the discipline of Production Engineering (including Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering).  Our academic programmes are well informed by our research strength.

*The RAE 2014 is the fifth such exercise conducted by the University Grants Committee (UGC) to assess the research quality of the eight UGC-funded institutions in Hong Kong
