Technical Visit to CAD Aviation Education Path

The Civil Aviation Department (CAD) of Hong Kong ensures aviation safety and efficiency, and its Aviation Education Path fosters a deeper understanding of aviation through theoretical and practical training.

The Aviation Education Path facilities at the Civil Aviation Department Headquarters promotes the interest and knowledge of the general public in aviation.  You will see a variety of themed exhibits, including:

• The history and latest aviation development in Hong Kong
• Roles and responsibilities of the Civil Aviation Department
• How safety and operational efficiency is achieved in aviation
• The worldwide air transport network
• Importance of global cooperation in aviation.

Participants will see and experience a virtual landing at the HK Int'l Airport from the pilot seat of a modern jetliner.

Note that this is 1 of the 2 events organized by MILESAA on the same day.  This is the afternoon section. Participants are welcomed to join both sections.

Notes to Participants

There are 2 events organized by MILESAA on the same day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

• Participants can select morning section only (Technical Visit to HAECO), or afternoon section only (Technical Visit to CAD Aviation Education Path), or both
• If participants will join both sections, coach will be provided and lunch (self-financed) will be arranged.  If only 1 sessionis joined, return coach back to PolyU will be provided.
• Basic insurance will be provided but participants are suggested to buy their own insurance if needed.
