Aviation Operations and Control (AOC) Laboratory aims to provide a simulation platform to our students to learn and appreciate different aviation operations and controlling systems applied in aviation industries. This laboratory is well equipped with Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems, which consist of several major sub-systems designed for air traffic controllers to monitor and control air traffic conditions within different airspaces in and around airports and between countries. In the AOC laboratory, students will have opportunities to gain different hand on experience, such as understanding various ground operations in airport, landing and taking off procedures of aircraft, passing aircraft from one restriction area to another, controlling airport gates, etc.
