Human-Machine Symbiotic Design and Manufacturing Laboratory (HMS-DML) Platform

This HMS-DML platform aims to boost the establishment of a human-machine symbiotic industry environment, by introducing/leveraging advanced manufacturing and robotics technologies, artificial intelligence, and digitalized systems.

The Digitalized Service Laboratory (CF402) aims to serve as an open platform to design and depoly various industrial digitalized services, through the GUI and information system deployed in the cloud-edge platform.

The robotic machining platform (In cooperation with COMAC) and human-vehicle interaction plaform for smart driving assistance (In cooperation with NETA) are hosted in The Maker Lab in Industrial Centre (W002).

The PolyU - Rhein Koester Joint Laboratory on Smart Manufacturing (X401, Aviation Services Research Centre (ASRC)) owns the ABB R1600 Industrial Robots, UR5/5e, 3D printing modules, mobile robot platforms, etc. for conducting human-robot interactive and collaborative industrial tasks.
