New modules of the IT Security Online Training Course for staff and students are now available on LEARN@PolyU. The new modules will cover security tips on using a Cloud Service and the best protection against Ransomware.
Module 11 for Students - Security Tips when using a Cloud Service
Cloud service brings conveniences to our daily life. We can store documents on Cloud and access them anywhere. While enjoying the conveniences of the Cloud, attention has to be paid to the potential security risks. Through this training, students will learn how to protect your data when using a Cloud service.
Module 17 for Staff - Protection against Ransomware
This module includes 2 videos. The first video explains what Ransomware is and how it works, while the second video shares the best practices to contain Ransomware attack risks and how to protect your critical data.
Login LEARN@PolyU with your NetID and NetPassword and you will find the latest module of the security training under the ‘Courses’ menu. Spend 10 minutes to complete the new module and earn an e-certificate.
