With the virtual assistant, academic departments can setup web-chat function with students to address general enquiries and even frequently asked topics can be shown and guide the conversation with students to enable contextual sensitive response. Students can input their questions any time via the virtual assistant and departments need not worry to response to students’ enquiries during non-office hour or on holiday.
Pilot run of virtual assistant platform will be available in mid-September. Interested departments can contact ITS for pilot service adoption.
