Specifications

Major Functions / Key Features

The NanoWizard V BioAFM provides high-resolution surface images with quantitative height profiles of the sample, which can include single molecules, polymers, 2D/3D materials, and biological samples. BioAFMs also allow life science and biophysics researchers to further their investigations in the fields of cell mechanics and adhesion, mechanobiology, cell-cell and cell-surface interactions, cell dynamics, and cell morphology.

The instrument feature in:

  • Combination with advanced optical inverted microscopy
  • Automated setup, workflow, and calibration of cantilevers
  • Study of single molecules, live cells, and tissue samples
  • Study corrugated and delicate, soft sample structures under native conditions
  • Gain a detailed understanding of viscoelastic properties and adhesion processes
  • Optional high-speed mode allowing up to 200 Hz scanning speed
