Biography

Jingwen received her Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Shipping, Maritime and Transportation Studies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  She also holds a B.Eng. in Logistics Engineering and Management from Dalian Maritime University.  She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department.

Jingwen’s research interests include shipping management, emission reduction in the maritime industry, green shipping promotion, and emission reduction regulation design.  Focusing on these topics, she has published papers in reputable journals, including Transportation Research Part B/ E, Naval Research Logistics, Maritime Policy & Management, etc.  During her Ph.D. and M.Phil. studies, she participated in multiple projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), General Research Fund (GRF) of Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC), and the General Programme of the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province.

Jingwen is also an active reviewer for journals, such as Transportation Research Part B/ C/ D/ E.  She also serves as Guest Editor of the special issue Emerging Solutions in Intelligent Vehicles, Transportation, and Logistics of Electronic Research Archive.
