Regarding the measures proposed in the Policy Address to support emerging industries, Prof. Christopher CHAO, Vice President (Research and Innovation) and PReCIT Director of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, said attracting top notch I&T enterprises to set up shop in Hong Kong appeared to be the scheme’s key focus. He believes the scheme could have a positive effect on local research efforts and drives to cultivate talent.
