Biography
Ms Anna Bella Suen graduated with a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy and obtained her master's degree in healthcare (physiotherapy) from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She also holds a master's degree in occupational hygiene from the University of Greenwich. Furthermore, she excelled herself by obtaining fellowships from the Australasian College of Health Service Management and the Hong Kong College of Health Service Executives.
Ms Suen has extensive clinical experience in various fields, including cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, fast-track physiotherapy services in the Accident and Emergency Department, and work-related injury rehabilitation. She has been involved in several occupational safety and health projects at hospitals under the Hospital Authority and served as the Case Manager of Occupational Medicine Care Service in the New Territories West Cluster. Previously, Ms. Suen held the position of Senior Physiotherapist in the Physiotherapy Department of Tin Shui Wai Hospital, New Territories West Cluster, and was a member of the commissioning team of Tin Shui Wai Hospital from 2015 to 2017. Prior to joining PolyU, she served as the Manager of the Occupational Safety & Health Team and Staff Health Team at the Hospital Authority Head Office. Ms Suen has been appointed as a Member of the Working Group on eHealth Partnership of the Steering Committee on eHealth in January 2024.
Ms Suen's clinical specialties include work-related injury rehabilitation, occupational safety and health, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and health service management. Currently, she serves as Honorary Treasurer of the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association Limited.
