Mengru LIU

 

Biography

LIU Mengru is a PhD student at the School of Design. Hailing from Chengdu City in Sichuan Province, she completed her Bachelor's degree at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute from 2015 to 2019. Continuing her academic journey, she pursued a Master's degree at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2020 to 2021. Driven by a profound interest in the field of adolescent sports training, LIU Mengru's research focuses on teenage basketball behavior and cognitive performance through design-driven AI technology, aiming to uncover novel ways of optimizing basketball training activities. With a strong desire to bridge the gap among design, AI, and sports science, she aspires to contribute to the overall understanding and improvement of sports behavior and training techniques.
