"This journey has reaffirmed my passion for advertising design and ignited a drive to contribute meaningfully to the industry." – Vicky LEUNG

Vicky started her internship journey at Noah Workshop, an advertising agency that provided her with invaluable insights into the dynamic world of advertising.

Learning Goals and Outcomes

During her internship, Vicky had the opportunity to explore various aspects of advertising, such as graphic design, copywriting, and marketing strategies. She gained hands-on experience in real-world advertising projects, learned the nuances of client interaction and project management, and enhanced her design skills and adapted them to various media. Additionally, she developed an understanding of the collaborative nature of advertising agencies and observed the evolution of advertising trends and strategies.

Vicky’s internship experience shaped her plan on how to excel in her final-year project and future career. She learnt that diverse perspectives can lead to innovative solutions. Moreover, she grasped the importance of aligning decisions with overall objectives and messages rather than simply concentrating on creating visually appealing designs. Vicky was thrilled to see her design being showcased to the public!

Internship Outputs and Amazing Experiences

Vicky’s workplace supervisor regarded her as a reliable team member and appreciated her exciting ideas. Her supervisor also commended her dedication and strong work ethic, highlighting her consistent completion of tasks and reliability as a member of the team.

During her internship, Vicky played a role in the visual design of an exhibition, designing the e-invite for a VIP Day [“倒瀉咗支辣椒油” The (spilled the chili oil) interactive exhibition] and promoting the dual flavours of “OOHA” sparkling drinks. She also crafted a compelling promotional event for Deliveroo at ACG. This involved her finding a food modelling expert to create the chili model for the display and identifying a suitable tasting element for the “missing tasting section.” All of these experiences were significant to her.
