Before joining PolyU Design, Anthony held positions as Associate Director, Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer at Hong Kong Design Institute, Course Director at Coventry University in Hong Kong, Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer at Saint Franics University. He also taught at City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Metropolitan University, and Vocational Training Council.

Anthony is currently the Chairman of Design Education Council of Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA), Secretary, Executive Committee of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Hong Kong Section, Computer Society Chapter and Vice-chairperson of HKDSE Applied Learning Subjects Committee, Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority.

His research interests lie in the interdisciplinary areas of Design for Hospitality, Digital Entertainment, Technology-Assisted Learning, Phygital Metaverse Design, and Cultural Art Technology.
