Tempre Go, aims to promote the sustainability of traditional culture and a cohesive community by improving local temple services in Hong Kong. Despite their rich historical and social significance, intangible cultural heritage such as traditional craftsmanship and social norms are at risk of being lost. Temples have the potential to serve as a container for traditional practices and demand for traditional craftsmanship. Tempre Go bridges the gap between temples and daily life, encouraging believers to support and practice traditional culture with a sense of certainty, relief, and social connectedness. The project seeks to address the obstacles that prevent people from engaging with temple culture. With the application of digitalization and technology, Tempre Go provides a range of features to create a customisable and continuous temple experience to foster a sense of social connectedness and promote the sustainability of traditional culture.
