People-pleasing behaviors, while commonly recognized, are often not acknowledged as problematic. Our goal was to challenge this perception and highlight the negative consequences of such behaviors. By presenting this issue through the familiar and emotionally charged story of the Little Match Girl, we aimed to create a powerful narrative that would resonate with young people and encourage them to reflect on their own experiences and behaviors. This project thus encompasses interactive VR animation and art installation addressing people-pleasing behaviors through this popular narrative.
