Dr. Wangoo Lee is an Assistant Professor at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, since August 2024. He also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Cases and the necessary condition analysis (NCA) development team. Dr. Lee has both academic and industry experience—He served as a Senior Lecturer at the Asian Institute of Tourism, University of the Philippines; worked as a Tourism Planning Consultant on various projects; and co-founded a web development company (DINOFALLO) where he served as a Project Manager.

Dr. Lee’s research interests include technology in hospitality and tourism, hospitality value management, and necessary causality/NCA. He has published over ten papers in notable journals such as the International Journal of Hospitality Management and has been recognized as a four-time best paper awardee/finalist at leading international conferences, including the 26th and 28th Annual Graduate Education and Graduate Student Research Conference in Hospitality and Tourism in 2021 and 2023.
