Established in 2005 under The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Students' Union (HKPUSU), the School of Hotel and Tourism Management Students' Association (SHTMSA) is the official organisation representing students of the School. Hosting more than 1,000 members, the SHTMSA aims to bring students of different backgrounds and interests together.

Objectives

(a) To promote interaction and communication among SHTMSA members
(b) To promote and safeguard the interest and welfare of members
(c) To cultivate friendship, co-operation and mutual understanding among members
(d) To organise and support cultural, social and sports activities for the benefits of members
(e) To foster links and communication among SHTMSA members, the SHTM, PolyU, the industry and the community.
