Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (SLCE) Exchange Programme

Have you already experienced the power of service-learning and want to take your involvement to the next level? Join our service-learning exchange programme to embark on an unforgettable journey of personal growth, cultural exchange and civic engagement!

Programme Description:

The Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (SLCE) Exchange Programme is funded by the Lee Hysan Foundation. The objective is to develop students’ global citizenship and social responsibility beyond the service-learning requirement through an immersive service-learning (SL) exchange experience co-organized by renowned universities in the United States.

Partner Universities in 2025:
Northwestern University*
University of Maryland, College Park 

Eligibility:

Current PolyU full-time undergraduate students who have passed a service-learning subject with at least B+ or above.
Prioirty will be given to non-final year and local students.
*Non-final year students only.

Scholarship:
Selected students will receive a scholarship to cover basic expenses! (e.g., visa, travel, accommodation and board)
