Service-Learning Scholarship Scheme 2.0 in 2024/25
Under the administration of the Service-Learning and Leadership Office, the Service-Learning Scholarship Scheme 2.0 recognise students with outstanding performance in service-learning subjects, and encourage them to continue their involvement in community service and act as student leaders to support the service-learning development at PolyU.
Each scholarship is of HK$8,000. The awardees will be required to serve as student leaders for 40 hours in a service-learning subject in the next academic year in order to receive the scholarship.
To apply the scholarship, a student should fulfill the following criteria:
- You are nominated by your SL subject teacher
- You are a full-time UGC-funded PolyU student
- You are not in your final year of study in 2023/24
- You have completed a credit-bearing SL subject with grade B+ or above in the academic year 2023/24
- You have a minimum cumulative GPA or latest Semester GPA of 2.5 or above
- You are willing to further develop your leadership and community engagement skills; and
- You have no disciplinary record at PolyU
Please note that if you did not receive nomination by the subject teacher, you would not receive the invitation of scholarship application.
