The “Novel Nano Multi-ring Defocus Incorporated Spectacle Lens for Myopia Control” invented by research teams from the PolyU School of Optometry, Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, State Key Laboratory of Ultra-precision Machining Technology and Vision Science & Technology Co Ltd (a PolyU Academic-led startup), won the Prize of the State of Geneva and the Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury at the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva.
