In the Information session of UBDA, Director Prof. Jiannong Cao introduced the demand of the big data analytics in several research areas for gaining new insights from the data to make more accurate and better decisions. Then, Prof. Cao discussed the need of UBDA with its aims and objectives to achieve. Also, Prof. Cao invited all inter-disciplinary researchers to do a collaboration with the UBDA team in the form of joint labs, joint projects, and sponsorships.
After that, UBDA Platform Administrator, Samuel Poon discussed the UBDA infrastructure and have also shown a live demo to execute the code on the UBDA platform.
