Introduction:

Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is an essential and powerful tool in chemical research and materials science, which aids in the verification of synthetic compounds, elucidation of unknown substances, analysis of chemical kinetics, identification of organic components in mixtures, etc. The latest generation of the Bruker spectrometer (AVANCE NEO), together with the autosampler, offers enhanced detection sensitivity, easy access to new NMR techniques (such as non-uniform sampling, NOAH experiments, dual-receiver experiments, etc.) and fully automated workflow. The present model in SZRI is a 500 MHz spectrometer for liquid sample acquisitions.

Specifications:

  • A room temperature iProbe SmartProbe (broadband channel tunable from 15N to 19F under full automation) for 5 mm sample diameter;
  • A 500 MHz standard-bore magnet;
  • A SampleCase autosampler that accommodates up to 24 samples;
  • Software: Bruker TopSpin 4.4.0.
