Biography
Esther Ma founded Prestique Limited (#prestiqueltd) in 1995 and is currently serving as its Chief Executive Officer. Prestique is a boutique lifestyle public relations and events management company with clients including beauty brands, luxury products, architects and designers, hospitality and sports entities, educational institutions, and NGOs. Prior to founding Prestique, Esther worked for Procter & Gamble (HK) Limited as SKII Brand Manager and received the Regional SKII Brand-Building Award. In 2016, Esther co-founded Harvest Sky Enterprises Limited (#harvest_sky) to nurture and support elite and aspiring athletes via opportunities in education, empowerment, events, endorsements, and endowments.
Prestique has been awarded a "Caring Company" for 15 consecutive years and celebrated the 14th Anniversary of its CSR initiative "Children Charities Carnival" this year. Esther's personal award include AmCham/SCMP Entrepreneur of the Year, APEC's Woman Entrepreneur Delegate (HK), China's Top 100 Woman Entrepreneurs, Jessica 10 Most Successful Women Award, SCMP Woman of Our Time, LIV Woman of Wellness, Prestige Woman of Power. Esther is also the Honorary Judge for AmCham Woman of Influence for 5 years and Tatler Hong Kong's Gen.T 2018 Awardees.
Currently, Esther is Co-Chair of Columbia Business School's Women's Committee; Board Member of Hong Kong Paralympic Committee and Asian University for Women; Advisor to Columbia Business School's Lang Entrepreneurship Centre, Morningside College at Chinese University, and Teach4HK; Vice-Chair of Wu Zhu Qiao Charitable Foundation; Member of Athletes Career & Education Department and Hong Kong Paralympic Committee under Hong Kong Sports Federation & Olympic Committee; Member of Zonta Club of Hong Kong and Member of Harvard GlobalWE. Esther is Trustee of Indian Mountain School CT and former Trustee of her alma mater Kent School in Connecticut, USA.
Esther has authored five books - "Conducting Your Job Search in Hong Kong" (1992), "The A to Z of PR" (2005), "HarvEst of the 7 Human Vines" (2004), “Live and Love Life under the Hong Kong Basic Law" (2017) and "Asia's 15 Over 50 - What's Her Next 50?" (2019). She received her BA Degrees from UC Berkeley and MBA degree from Columbia Business School. Esther has two teenage daughters named Quisha and Tiqa Lee.
