Aims

The Competition aims to provide participants with:

  • A good understanding of the significance of business education in the digital age
  • Hands-on experience of using technologies to solve real-world business problems
  • An understanding of the disciplines of studies offered by the Faculty of Business, PolyU, properly known as PolyU Business School.

Highlights

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  1. Meet with and learn from executives of a Fortune Global 500 company. In particular, they will:
    • Learn how to leverage technology advancements to solve a business challenge related to the company
    • Meet executive(s) from the local branch of the company
    • Develop a proposal for the company's business challenge and receive instant feedback
  2. Join dedicated technology training
  3. Win a cash prize

Eligibility

We encourage local and non-local students who are in the following years of studies in 2024/25 to join our Competition individually or in teams:

  • Secondary 4 or 5
  • Grade 10 or 11 (US System)
  • Year 11 or 12 (UK System)
  • Senior high school year 1 or 2 in the Chinese Mainland

Important note:

  • Eligible students can either join the Competition individually or in teams. Each student can only join one team, but schools can enter multiple teams without restrictions.
  • There are two stages of competition. Only those successfully complete all the tasks in Stage 1 can enter Stage 2. For contesting teams, all members must successfully complete all the tasks in Stage 1 in order for the teams concerned to enter Stage 2.
