The Alliance of Chinese and European Business Schools (ACE) focuses on academic excellence and the synergy between research and education in order to better prepare the next generation of executives.
The Faculty is one of the 20 founding members of the alliance.
Building on the successful model of the Clinton Global Initiative, which brings together world leaders to take action on global challenges, President Bill Clinton launched the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) in 2007 to engage the next generation of leaders on college campuses around the world.
CGI U has five foci: Education, Environment and Climate Change, Peace and Human Rights, Poverty Alleviation, and Public Health.
Global Port Research Alliance (GPRA) is a global research, education and teaching platform in port operations, maritime and transport logistics. It builds collaborative arrangements among alliance members as well as between the alliance and the industry.
To enhance the international dimension and academic vigour of PolyU DBA, collaborations have been established with IMD business school in Switzerland and the Summer School and Executive Programmes unit of The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in London, U.K.
IMD's open executive education programmes have been ranked first in the world by the Financial Times for the last nine years in a row (2012-2020).
LSE has been ranked top in Europe, and second in the world, in social sciences and management subjects for the ninth consecutive year in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021.

The University of Ljubljana is the central and largest educational institution in Slovenia. It is a member institution of the Alliance of Chinese and European Business Schools (ACE) and is accredited by AACSB and EQUIS.

Students and graduates of PolyU’s MSc in China Business Studies programme, who meet coursework and other requirements, qualify for admission to Master’s degree programmes in Quantitative Economics, Applied Math, Risk Management, and Accounting at Yeshiva University.

Jointly supervising Chinese mainland PhD students
Students from partner universities stay normally for 12 months at PolyU as Research Assistants. Each of them is supervised by a chief supervisor from their home university and a co-supervisor from PolyU. After that, they return to their home universities to continue their research and obtain the PhD degree after passing their examinations.
