Prof. Kei is currently Professor of Practice (FinTech) and Programme Director of the Doctor of Business Administration Programme at PolyU.
Besides teaching, Prof. Kei is also the Vice Chairman of the Institute of Securities Dealers, and Industry Mentor of the Industry Project Masters Network scheme at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
Over the past two years, Prof. Kei has received funding support from multiple sources for his research projects:

HK$400,000 from Teaching Development Grants (TDG) for the research project ‘Blockchain-based Application for Enhancing Student Engagement and Co-creation’, for which he acted as technical advisor and project manager (December 2022).

A donation of HK$5,000,000 from OnlyOwner Technology Limited for the research project ‘On Cryptography and Blockchain Applications to Business’, for which he acted as principal investigator (July 2022).

HK$566,370 from Online Teaching Development and Education Research Grants for ‘Development of Online Challenge Short Courses with E-verified Competency Certificates’ (AFBlockchain), for which he acted as project manager (March 2021).
Prof. Kei was recognised as a Visionary Educator 2022 by UiPath, a market leader in robotic process automation.
