Mr Kenneth YU

Mr Yu has supported PolyU in many capacities. Between 2014 and 2017, he actively participated in the SAO Mentorship Programme, and in activities organised by the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Hong Kong Community College, and the Achievement Foundation, by offering both complimentary training and by sponsoring some training up to 50%.
As a member of the Junior Chamber International (JCI), Mr Yu has held a number of leadership roles contributing to the organisation’s growth and development for 13 years. In his current role as National President of JCI Hong Kong, Mr Yu is responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic direction of the organisation. He works closely with other JCI leaders and members to identify areas for improvement and implements initiatives to enhance the organisation's impact.
As a JCI trainer, Mr Yu has conducted over 110 training sessions to more than 1,500 JCI attendants and more than 20,000 public participants.
In addition to receiving a number of awards from JCI, Mr Yu is also an awardee of:
- United Nation Global Compact (2020 – 2023)
- Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs' Commendation Scheme (2020)
- Gold Award for Volunteer Service, Social Welfare Department (2012)
- Gold Award for Voluntary services, The Salvation Army (2002-2003)
He was also named ‘Outstanding Person 2022’ by Chinese Today Publishing House.
