The Faculty will call for applications three times a year via mass email. Interested students should submit the application form and the other required information to their host Department. The application form can be downloaded from the Faculty Student Intranet: https://www2.polyu.edu.hk/fce/student-internal/intranet/

Non-local WIE/ Outbound exchange/ 2+2 programme

Applications should reach the Faculty Office before students participate in the activity. Subsistence allowance will be released before departure. Students are advised to submit applications as early as possible because late applications may result in delayed processing of payment.
The remaining subsidy for airfare will be released upon successful completion of the activity concerned. Students are required to submit supporting documents, i.e., a copy of the transcript issued by the exchange institution/ PolyU within 4 weeks after completion. If students fail to complete the non-local learning activity, provide supporting documents for verification purposes, or have any disciplinary record during/ after the non-local study period, the disbursed subsistence allowance will be reclaimed.

Non-local activities other than non-local WIE/ outbound exchange/ 2+2 programme

Applications should reach the Faculty Office after students complete the activity. To claim the subsidy for airfare, students are required to attach supporting documents, such as a copy of the transcript issued by PolyU, a certificate of completion issued by the organiser, etc. Applicants who fail to provide valid supporting documents or have any disciplinary record will be disqualified.

The above information will be reviewed regularly without prior notice. FCE reserves the right to change or withdraw the fund at any time. In the event of any dispute/disagreement, FCE’s decision shall be final.
