The result of the 2020 China’s Top Ten Optical Research Breakthroughs (中國光學十大進展) was announced in Hangzhou on 25 April 2021. One of the winning projects under the fundamental research category is the research on high-dimensional quantum entangled meta-lens array conducted by a research team led by Prof. Din-Ping Tsai, Chair Professor and Head of the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, in hands with academics from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing University, University of Science and Technology of China, and East China Normal University. The China’s Top Ten Optical Breakthroughs, organized by the China Laser Press, is recognized as the most influential award in the field in China. This year, 20 researches across the country, ten for each of the categories of fundamental research and application research, were elected by 48 judges to recognize their significant values.
