ENGL Alumni Association Held the First IG Live Chat

To connect everybody during the pandemic, the Department of English Alumni Association (DEAA) organised the first Instagram live chat with the Department’s alumnae, Miss Nicole Chan on 7 November. Nicole is a graduate of ENGL’s BA (Hons) in English for Business and Professional Communication (EBPC) programme in 2018. She shared her invaluable experience as a marketing intern in the UK with our current students and alumni in the chat. Nicole suggested ways to establish social networks for her career, steps to build her personal brand in her portfolio via social media platforms, and stress management during the pandemic. The chat discussed how we can thrive in our professional and personal lives in the age of COVID-19.
