Celebrating the Learning of European Languages at the Speaking-Dating Activity

The "Speaking-dating" event offered by the Department of English and Communication (ENGL) successfully brought together students eager to practice French, German, and Spanish. Each language hosted a booth, welcoming participants of all levels to engage with fluent speakers, including teachers and helpers. Attendees enjoyed collecting stickers from each booth and received a “boarding pass” that promoted upcoming language-related events and Minor programmes. The atmosphere was vibrant, with many students capturing memorable moments through photos. Their enthusiasm for future Spanish and French Corners was evident, as they eagerly asked questions and expressed a strong desire to participate in more language activities.
