Korean Minor Students Win the Grand and Second Prizes in 8th Korean Consul General Cup Korean Speech Contest

Two PolyU Korean minor students, Ms Cheng Wing Ling Dorcas (Year 4 in CBS major) and Ms Lee Yan Tung (Year 4 in Aviation Engineering major), won the Grand Prize and the Second Prize, respectively, at the 8th Korean Consul General Cup Korean Speech Contest, which was held earlier this year. The Contest is annually hosted by the Korean Consulate General in Hong Kong and the Korean Cultural Centre in Hong Kong, and is considered as the most prestigious Korean speech contest in Hong Kong.
Both winners can participate in a Korean cultural training programme hosted by King Sejong Institute Foundation, a Korean governmental organisation to promote Korean learning around the world.
