Eligibility 參賽資格

• Secondary 4 - 5 / Grade 10 - 11 / Year 11 - 12 students in 2023/24 academic year who possess valid HKIDs;

  於2023/24 學年就讀中四至中五 / 第 10－11級 / 第 11－12 班並持有有效香港身份証的學生；

• Each participating team should consist of 3 - 4 students nominated by their secondary school, along with 1 teacher advisor from the same school;

  每支參賽隊伍需經由學校提名，及由3 - 4名來自同一所學校的學生及1位學校導師組成；

• Each school can nominate up to 4 teams for the competition. A teacher can lead a maximum of 2 teams. 

  每所學校最多可提名4支團隊參賽。每位教師最多可帶領2支團隊。

Registration 報名

• Online registration will be open from 1 November to 22 December 2023.

  網上報名將於2023年11月1日起至12月22日期間開放。

• Teams should be nominated by schools through the completion of the online registration form.

  參賽隊伍需由學校提名，並填妥網上報名表格。

• This form requires the school name, teacher adviser’s and participating students' details. Please note that the contact email of the teacher advisor will be the primary mode of communication for all related updates.

  網上報名需要填寫學校名稱、學校導師和參賽學生的資料。學校導師的電郵將用作聯絡及接收消息的指定郵箱。

• Once registration has been successfully completed, a confirmation email will be sent by the Faculty of Science.

  成功報名的隊伍將會收到由理學院發出的確認電郵。

Final Competition 決賽

• Date: 16 March 2024 (Sat)

  日期: 2024年3月16日（星期六）

• Time: 9am – 6:30pm

  時間: 上午9:00 – 下午6:30

• The Final Competition will consist of four parallel sessions in the following streams: Biology & Food Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.

  比賽將分四場進行，分別為：生物與食品科學， 化學，數學，物理。

• All teams will need to complete four tasks within the laboratory facility or classroom, with each task lasting 75 minutes.

  參賽隊伍需要在實驗室或教室中完成 4 項指定任務。 每個任務限時75分鐘。

• All participants must attend all sessions on the PolyU campus in person.

  所有參賽隊伍必須親身出席理大校園參加所有項目。

Prizes 獎項

1. Overall Winning Teams 勝出隊伍

• Champion  – Cash Prize HK$20,000

  冠軍 – 現金獎港幣$20,000 

• First runner-up – Cash Prize HK$10,000

  亞軍 – 現金獎港幣$10,000

• Second runner-up – Cash Prize HK$5,000

  季軍 – 現金獎港幣$5,000

*除了可以獲得豐富的現金獎外，勝出隊伍更能獲得於2024年暑假參與理學院星級教授研究實習的寶貴機會。

2. Teams with Excellent Performance 團隊表現優異獎

• Apart from the overall winners, the teams with excellent performance will receive cash prizes, which are HK$2,000 for the team with the highest score, and HK$1,000 for the rest.

  除了勝出隊伍外，表現優異的隊伍將獲得現金獎。第一名隊伍獲得現金獎港幣$2,000，其餘隊伍每隊獲得現金獎港幣$1,000。

3. Awardees will be given favourable consideration for admission to PolyU.

    得獎者報讀理大將優先獲得考慮。
